It’s definitely a proud moment for the club members’ to have their work on display at one of the most amazing venue, the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre.
The club has evolved over the years as memberships lapsed, renewed but most importantly were the recruitment of ‘new blood’ that kept the club active till today!
The members have one common interest – a great passion and love for the art of photography! And it’s all about sharing because photography is nothing if no one sees them…
There are only good photographs with good memories, which are what the photos must convey to be a good one. We talked about photography techniques; we talked about gears... which camera or lens is better – yours or mine. In the end, the reality is really about the photographer – the person behind the lens. What you see is what you get, and if you don’t see it then you don’t get it!
Anyone can pick up good photography techniques but learning the art of photography is the hardest hurdle for any photographer. So joining a club like this provides an avenue for sharing of your photographs with other members.
It has been an experience indeed since joining this club as I’ve shared so many photography journeys with the members, venturing through the streets of Malacca and scaling to Mount Kinabalu!
Of course, the most exciting journey is the upcoming adventure to the homeland of Genghis Khan as we explore the route of Inner Mongolia.
'Conquering the world on horseback is easy;
it is dismounting and governing that is hard.'
Quoted by Genghis Khan aka Kublai Khan
